    Hello Andrey,
    – Regarding the blinking you notice while opening the app:
On Android 12 and above, the system always shows the app icon briefly before our custom splash screen due to Google’s new Splash Screen API. That square white “Friends” logo you mentioned is part of Android’s default behavior. I’ve already minimized this effect by matching the background color, so what you now see is just a quick transition from the system launch icon to our splash screen. This small “blink” is unavoidable on Android 12+ and is standard behavior across all modern apps.
    – Video previews inside the chat screen are now fully implemented. Users can see rich previews and play videos from YouTube and other third-party links directly within the chat.
    – I’ve also updated the Sign In button color on the login screen to match the app’s theme for better visual consistency.
    – About the offline issue you mentioned (video not sending and disappearing after coming online):
On our side, everything is working correctly. Messages, videos, and voice notes are syncing properly even when sent offline and delivered once the connection is restored. I tested this between “Friend” and “Jully,” and all chats—including voice notes—are loading and delivering as expected.
    – I’ve attached a screen recording showing this behavior. Please review it on your end.

    Hello Andrey,

Hi, thanks for the quick response.
Understood regarding the splash screen. The orange dolphin is not part of your branding and should not appear. I will ensure that only the full-screen HD “Friends” logo appears when the app launches, exactly as it did earlier. No multiple images or transitions—just a single, clean splash screen.
    Regarding the developer account:
The APK file you currently host on your server works only for Android.
For iOS, the app is built as an .ipa file.
To enable push notifications on iOS (similar to how they work on Android), the app must be connected to an Apple Developer account. From that account, we generate an APNs (Apple Push Notification service) key and link it with Firebase. Without this, notifications cannot work on iOS devices.
So, to proceed with iOS notifications, we will need access to your Apple Developer account or you can create one and share the credentials with us.
Once this is done, iOS notifications will work just like they do on Android.

    Hello Andrey,

All the issues you mentioned earlier have been resolved. I just want to clarify one point regarding the splash screen so we’re perfectly aligned.
You mentioned that the small blue “Friends” app icon that appears at the start should be removed. You also referred to the “Guppy splash screen,” which I understand as the orange dolphin screen that appears unnecessarily.
To confirm: I will keep only the Blue Friends logo screen as the app’s splash screen and remove everything else.
The iOS app build is ready. I now just need access to your Apple Developer account to configure Firebase push notifications.
