    Hello Andrey,

Sorry to hear the same repeated line again, but as I mentioned, you need to record a screen video and share a screenshot of the issue so I can see the possible problem. At this time, I cannot test or review the code because I still don’t have a clear idea where the actual issue exists. So you need to provide a screen recording so I can check the issue accordingly.

    Hello Andrey,

Please remove any previously installed versions of the app from your device and ensure that all related cache/data is cleared.

After that, install the application using only this link:
    https://app.appsonair.com/install/jb8eUIaY

Once installed, please test the app and let me know if everything is working correctly on your end. If everything looks good, I will proceed with uploading it to your site for users.

If you encounter any issues, please record your screen while testing and share the video along with a clear description of the problem. Also, if possible, try testing on 2–3 different latest-generation mobile devices.

I strongly recommend that you record a screen video while testing and share it with me whenever you encounter an issue. This will help me understand and reproduce the exact problem on my end.

Please avoid just saying “there is an error” or giving a general description, as it can sometimes be unclear and lead to confusion about the actual issue.

Make sure to record the screen at the moment the issue occurs. Otherwise, we may both end up guessing and won’t be able to identify the real problem. I’d like to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth and save both of our time.

    Hello Andrey,
    Thanks for your message.

Please download the updated app using this link: https://app.appsonair.com/install/9lPrWBae
This link is for testing purposes only and will expire within 2 days.

Please proceed with testing if you feel the current progress in my recorded test video is in the right direction. I recommend uninstalling the current app first and clearing cache, browser data, and any related data. Also, if possible, try testing on a different Android device for better validation.

    Hello Andrey,

    Nishit here.
As discussed, I have connected with the mobile team and tested the new build of the app. I’ve also recorded a video for your reference.
Please review the video carefully and let me know if I am testing it correctly. If not, kindly point out where I might be going wrong. It would be helpful if you could specify the exact issues you are facing so I can verify them properly.
At this stage, there is no need for you to test from your side—just let me know whether my testing approach is correct. Also, please share any additional scenarios you would like me to test in a similar manner.

    Hey Andrey,

I’m trying to upload the latest application to the file manager, but it looks like I don’t currently have the required permissions to access it.

Could you please share the credentials or grant access to the file manager so I can upload the latest build of the application?

    Hey Andrey,

I’ve been testing the app across multiple devices to try and identify the root cause of the issues you reported. Since the problem could not be reproduced on the same device models we tested earlier, I expanded the testing and checked the app on around 12–15 different devices with various Android versions.

So far the app has been working properly in our testing environment. I’m continuing to review everything carefully to make sure there are no hidden issues.

I will share a fully reviewed and finalized build with you shortly so you can test it again from your side.

    Hi Andrey,
We have tested the application extensively with full effort across multiple devices, Android versions, and usage scenarios. On our side, the app is functioning smoothly and all implemented features are working as expected.
However, aside from your current device (OnePlus), we have not received any clear reproducible failure from other specific devices with verifiable details. Without at least one confirmed failing device scenario (model + OS + steps + evidence), it becomes technically impossible to debug the issue accurately.
    Blinking screen at app start:
As explained earlier, this behavior is caused by the official Android Splash Screen policy on newer Android versions. The system briefly displays the app icon before the custom splash screen, which cannot be fully removed by third-party apps. We have already minimized it by matching background colors. This is standard Android behavior.
    Reference (Google official documentation):
    https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/launch/splash-screen
    Scope — Requested Features Status
Below is the list of functionalities originally requested and their completion status:
    Core Fixes
Full synchronization with messenger (media, locations, etc.) — Working
Image sending visibility across platforms — Fixed & Working
Video sending with preview on mobile — Fixed & Working
Audio/voice message recording issues — Fixed & Working
App icon update with new APK — Completed
    Requested Upgrades
YouTube / external video link sharing with preview — Implemented
(Additionally, in-chat video playback functionality was integrated, not just thumbnail preview.)
    Offline messaging capability — Implemented
Users can record/send messages while offline and they will be delivered once internet is available.
(Extended to all message types: text, voice, images, videos, location, links.)
Push notifications with sound and visual alerts — Implemented
    Additional Improvements Delivered
Although not explicitly required, we also implemented several enhancements to improve reliability and user experience:
    • Upgraded libraries and introduced future-ready architecture
    • Offline cache display so content remains visible on poor or no connection
    • Optimized chat loading and message sending performance
    • Reduced unnecessary background processing
    • Added upload progress indicators for video files
    • Updated UI for a more modern and smoother look
    • Improved stability to reduce potential crashes on supported environments
Our intention has always been to deliver a fully functional and stable application. At this stage, all requested features and fixes have been implemented and verified on our testing devices.
If you can provide a clearly reproducible issue on a specific device (model, Android version, steps, and preferably a screen recording), we will gladly investigate further. Otherwise, based on all available testing, the project requirements have been fulfilled from our side.
    Kind regards,
    Dave

    Hi Andrey,

This latest build is the most polished version we have delivered so far, with all major functionalities implemented and working smoothly in our testing (messaging, media sharing, offline queueing, synchronization, notifications, etc.).

For clarification, we are not asking you to request screen recordings from every user. We only need testing on one or two specific devices (preferably different from your current primary device) so we can identify where the issue may be occurring on your side.

Our genuine intention is to help you achieve a fully functional and reliable application. From our side, all features are operating seamlessly across the devices we tested. Therefore, we are also surprised that the recent build is not behaving properly in your environment.

To resolve this effectively, we kindly request a clear screen recording from one or two affected device (Mention the android version with device name) showing the full sequence (from opening the app to the issue occurring). This will allow us to understand the exact conditions and provide a precise solution instead of guessing possible causes.

Once we can clearly see the problem in action, we will be able to assist you much more efficiently and work toward resolving any remaining issues.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in this process.

    Kind regards,
    Dave

    Hi Andrey,

We have carefully investigated the issues you reported and reviewed the behavior of the latest build on our side.

    • Regarding the OnePlus 8 Pro:
This device originally shipped with Android 10 / OxygenOS 10, and its final major update is Android 13 (released about two years ago). The current application includes modern features such as offline queueing, media previews, Firebase services, and real-time updates, which required integrating newer libraries and frameworks. Some of these components can behave differently or have limitations on certain older OS versions or manufacturer-customized ROMs.

    • Testing on newer devices:
Could you please confirm whether the latest build was tested on any newer device models as well?

    • Request for full screen recording:
If possible, kindly share a complete screen recording (on the new phone) starting from app launch through the crash, including steps for offline video sending and the typing field issue. This will help us identify the exact failure point.

    • Our testing results:
We have tested the latest build extensively across multiple brands and Android versions — including Android 16, 15, 13, 12, and 10. In all cases, core functionalities (offline video sending, messaging, media handling, etc.) are working smoothly without crashes.

    • Need for reproducible evidence:
Since the issue is not reproducible in our environment, the video from your side is essential for accurate diagnosis. Once we can observe the exact sequence and device behavior, we will be able to investigate further and provide a targeted solution if required.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your video so we can resolve this as quickly as possible.

    Kind regards,
    Dave
