Hello Dave, today we have tested the app one more time using android 15 Xaomi.
First test we run but we could not record the test on the video for some reason the video recorder did not recorded full video.
However when we tested first time we were turing of amd on the internet and tried to upload the videos off line. We tried to invited Friend user to chat but for some reason this function was not working, then app crushed, then we reopened it again and tried to add friend user to chat again and it did not work. The app crushed for couple more times and then we could see the message saying ” The Firends app keeps crusing report this problem”
After sometime we tried to open the app again and then we noted the friend user come to the chat so we continiew our test.
We turend off internet and uploaded video to both Andrey and Friend users then we tried to close the app and open again , then tried to to text message but we could not as text window was not activve and everytime we tap on the text field the app got closed.
However while we where trieing to find the way how to type the message we relaized that when we texted anything the mobile keyboard closeses typing field and we could not see what is typing there.
While we where playing with that we were turning on and off the internet and eventually we realized that the video files have been send after somtime. When we checked the video it did not recorded it so we tried to record the video for second time.
When we tested second time the video got recorded but still typng filed was not active and everytime we tap on text filed the appgot closed. Then when we find a spot on the screen where we can time the keyboard overlaping texting area and we couild not see what we are typing.
When we typed a message we noted that there is no sent button on the chan and only two icons mic from the right and file upload arrow from the left.
So we tried to upload a second video off line and again tried to turn internet on and off and after some time the video attachment got disapeared as on other phones please see this video recording here: https://webmaklay.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/apptest.movie_.mp4
Despite of testing on Android 15 the app presented same issues as we previously detected while were tested on android 13. On 15 version we could mannage to sent offline attached video once but second time it is failed as well.
The text input is imposible to use and it is very complicated and not user friendly. The app keeps crushing and closing off.
When we launch the app it still blinking no matter which android version it is. As a result we stoped testing for other functions as it is already showd enough that this app can not be used in the way it is now.
As mentioned earlier we got othre users who downloaded this app and had to remove it from their phones as it was imposible to use for just some of the reasons we mentioned above.
Thus please Dave let us know if you able to handle this app repair and upgarde job and if you can not that is absolutely fine we will try to search for other developers who were saying that they can do this job and make our Friends app 100 % functional and user friendly.
